Western Lakes

 

 

Lake Wurdiboluc

Anglers are taking brown and rainbow trout on scub worms along the southern shoreline, while fly-fishermen are having some success with smelt imitating flies.

 

 

 

 

 

Lake Bullen Merri

This lake is producing rainbow trout up to 8lb and brown trout to 6lb when trolling out of boats and fishing the northern shoreline with powerbait and scrub worms. Fly-fishermen have also had success when fishing woolly bugger flies from the shoreline.
